The Nativity Story

Two and a half stars out of four. I confess that I was slightly disappointed, but then again, there wasn't that much material to work with in the first place. So far as my memory serves me, they kept it biblically accurate, which is a plus. But what I meant by the lack of material is, there isn't really enough in the Bible to make a movie out of with regards to the story of the birth of Jesus. Hence, the writers had to make some stuff up. It was technically a well done movie though. I was just expecting something as inspiring as "The Passion of the Christ", and it wasn't up to that level. One thing that fascinated me about this movie though was the stars...or rather, two planets and a star coming together. Is this an actual theory on how that particular astronomical event occurred? I will have to research that.
I don't feel that I need to give a basic synopsis on this film, as most people probably already know the story.
