Jet Li's Fearless (a.k.a. Huo Yuan Jia)

Three stars out of four. Very enjoyable movie for those of you who like action films with a bit of depth to them. The only thing I didn't like about this movie is that it seemed to leave a few loose ends...but I won't tell you about them, you can figure it out for yourself. Basic synopsis: The movie starts with final scene, where Jet Li's character has to fight the four best fighters from countries around the world. It stops just before the last fight, and goes back to his childhood, where he is the son of a Wushu master, wanting to learn to fight. The movie is primarily about his life before the international competition and the lessons he learns through his experiences and mistakes.

Pride and Prejudice

Three stars out of four. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Better romance movie than anything written today. Brilliant dialogue. It was rather long, though. I don't know the running time, or I'd put it here for you to judge. Anyways, if your girlfriend wants to see a romance movie, rent this over anything else.

The Wicker Man

Three and a half stars out of four. Very twisted. Very evil. But very good. The only reason I didn't give it four stars is because it was slow in some parts. This is not a horror movie, but rather one of those movies that makes you try to figure out how it is going to end, only you find out that the ending is nothing like what you expected. Basic Synopsis: A California police officer receives a letter from his ex-fiancee that says that her daughter is missing, and that she wants help in finding her. The letter leads him to Summer's Isle, a remote, privately owned island in the Puget sound. Everyone on the island denies the girl's existence, but he knows that they are hiding something from him...
