Kung Fu Hustle

Four stars out of four. I had my doubts going in, but this is an awesomely funny movie, particularly if you like martial arts films. If you don't...well, find some other movie listed on my site to watch, because there's tons of fight scenes that are really cool. It's like Chinese "Looney Tunes" in a way. I'm probably going to go out and buy this movie when I can get the money. Basic synopsis: two wannabe gansters, impersonating members of the notorious Axe Gang, bring the real gang into a poor tenament section of the city called "Pig Sty Alley", where they encounter and try to defeat three kung fu masters who have been hiding out in the Alley.

March of the Penguins

Three stars out of four. Penguins are cool. The movie is a bit slow in places, but fascinating anyways. After seeing this, I have little doubt that penguins are toughest birds on the planet. This movie is narrated by Morgan Freeman, one of my favorite actors. Also, another tidbit, this is the first G-rated movie I've seen in theaters in a long time. Basic synopsis: This is a documentary about the migration of penguins to their breeding grounds in Antarctica.
